Our Scan to BIM offering provides highly detailed, accurate building models, designed to be used across the entire design team and throughout the lifetime of a building
Point 2’s BIM Specification Documents help our clients and design team to specify the exact requirements for a project, maximising efficiency and avoiding abortive costs
- Scan: Short lead‐in times with a quick turnaround using our dedicated, trained surveyors equipped with our P40/20 Leica scanners
- Process: Controlled and georeferenced to Ordnance Survey Grid, conversant with the RICS Specifications for Measured Surveys of Land, Buildings and Utilities, 3rd edition
- Model: Accurate, intelligent Revit® modelling for BIM use, which is compliant with BS1192:2017, BS8541‐1:2012 and the PAS1192 suite of documents
- LOD: It is critical to establish the Level of Definition LOD at the outset for a successful project
We have developed a graphical LOD model to which can be viewed online for typical elements
And have created a selection of BIM Specification Documents to aid and improve the client’s understanding and expectations for Scan to BIM projects
